Dear Authors,

The TIPG 2024 will address the main issues of contemporary political geography and international relations. The Conference provides a platform for discussion and collaboration of experts in the fields of Political Geography, Geopolitics, International Relations, International Law and other related areas of inquiry.

The Conference is a continuation of the International Conference “Topical issues of international relations in the current geopolitical context”, which has been taken place in St. Petersburg annually since 2016.

The conference will include six panels:

  • Panel 5: International Relations.
  • Panel 6: Sustainable Development.

Announcements of the results of comparative studies are especially welcome.

Conference fee does not include accommodation payment. The costs of travel and accommodation participants cover themselves. All payments from the Russian citizens and organisations are made in rubles.

PAPER SUBMISSION

All accepted papers will be sent to Springer Geography (indexed in Scopus). Before submitting the paper please read the Information for Authors and Publishing Policies & Ethics. English is the language of the conference and of all submissions.

In order to participate in the conference, the authors need to upload the paper, via Easychair for TIPG-2024 by the Submission Deadline.

All papers should be written in English and prepared using the Word template within 10 -15 pages. All papers should be submitted without any means of identifying their authors through EasyChair Page by the Submission Deadline.

All submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or considered for publication elsewhere. Accepted papers must be revised to address reviewer comments, to add author names and affiliations and to add the rights management text received above and resubmitted through EasyChair Page by the Revised Submission Deadline. Papers will be published in proceedings and will be sent to Scopus.


Venue and accomodation

The modern congress center with comfortable halls is equipped with everything necessary for conferences and other events. It is located in the heart of the university campus on the north of St. Petersburg within easy walking distance of the metro station Polytechnicheskaya.

We recommend conference participants to book hotels in the city center near the red metro line (it takes about 20 minutes by metro from the city center to the venue).
